What to expect from the ICOT General English course?

  • Develop your four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) using authentic and functional language;
  • Enhance your communicative skills so you are able to communicate effectively both in and outside the classroom;

Course information

When you arrive, you will take a placement test and be placed accordingly based on your CEFR level. Classes start every Monday on a continuous enrolment basis. There is no time limit on how long you should stay in a level, but generally, when you start a level you should be ready to move up after around 12 weeks. Weekly progress tests and monitoring from teachers will help you develop your skills.

Morning: Monday to Friday

First lesson: 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Break: 10:30 am - 10:45 am

Second lesson: 10:45 am - 12:15 am

Afternoon: Monday to Friday

First lesson: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Break: 2:30 pm - 2:45 pm

Second lesson: 2:45 pm - 4:15 pm
