Trinity’s Integrated Skills in English (ISE) is a contemporary four-skills qualification assessing reading, writing, speaking, and listening, available at registered exam centres worldwide. It is widely recognised by governments and institutions as providing reliable evidence of English language proficiency.
Preparing for ISE develops authentic, communicative, and transferable skills essential for academic study and employability. These include synthesising information from multiple sources, participating confidently in interactive discussions, and delivering presentations on topics of personal interest.

The TIE exam is accepted for universities in Ireland but is much less academic than the other exams. Prior to the exam, you need to do three tasks and record them in a logbook: Carry out a short project on a subject of interest to you, read a book of your choice in English at your level,  follow a News Story in the newspapers and/or on TV or radio.
