While studying at ICOT, Cork, you will have the opportunity to explore Cork city and county with excursions organized to various local attractions and of course to our famous Irish pubs. Sample the music and culture of Cork while practicing the new language skills you are learning at the College.
If you are a foodie you can visit the world-famous English Market which is a 3-minute walk from the College. Around the corner from The English Market is Patrick Street which is a shopper’s paradise. If history is your thing you can visit historic buildings such as Elizabeth Fort, St. Finbarr’s Cathedral and the celebrated Shandon Bells which are all conveniently located nearby. If art and culture is your cup of tea, you can take in an exhibition at the Crawford Gallery or UCC’s Glucksman gallery, or see a show at the Cork Opera House or The Everyman Palace Theatre.
